Windrush 75 Portraits
To commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Windrush arrival in the UK, Arts Bridge Charity partnered with Bernie Grant Arts Centre and Tottenham photographer, Steve Bright, to create a series of portraits.
The images of the Windrush Generation elders were displayed in the foyer of Bernie Grant Arts Centre alongside images of the elders from when they first arrived in the UK and audio recordings of them sharing stories about adjusting to their new lives.
The elders were invited to attend a VIP reception event to mark the opening of the exhibition. Event images courtesy of Glodi Miessi.
