Become a trustee of Arts Bridge Charity

Voluntary role · London · Initial one-year term

Arts Bridge Charity uses the arts as a bridge to learning. Since 2014, we have delivered creative, community-led projects across London that open up the arts to children, young people and communities who might otherwise be excluded from them.

Our work spans emotional wellbeing in schools, intergenerational community projects, heritage storytelling and pathways for emerging artists. We are a small, agile organisation with big ambitions, and we are looking for a new trustee to help us grow.

As a trustee of Arts Bridge Charity, your voice will genuinely be heard and your contribution will make a real difference. This is governance with impact, not governance by committee.

Skills we are looking for

We are looking for someone with experience or expertise in one of the following areas:

Fundraising and income generation - to help us identify new sources of funding, strengthen our fundraising strategy and build long-term financial sustainability.

Business strategy - to support our planning, organisational development and decision-making as we scale our programmes and partnerships.

Marketing and communications - to help us raise our profile, reach new audiences and communicate our impact more effectively. You do not need experience in all three areas. We are looking for someone who brings real depth in one of them.

Previous board or trustee experience is not required. We actively welcome applications from people from ethnically diverse backgrounds, people with disabilities, and anyone who has been underrepresented in governance roles. What matters most is your commitment to our mission and what you can contribute.
